All about the Algerian Cultural Center
The Algerian Cultural Center of Paris is a place of cultural and artistic expression inaugurated on November 3, 1983 and a member of the FICEP (Forum of Institutes of Foreign Cultural Studies in Paris) since 2003. Located in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, the CCA offers a wide variety of cultural and educational activities open to the public.
The center has several facilities dedicated to the organization of events such as exhibitions of paintings, photographs, sculptures and traditional art, a library of more than 30,000 books, an auditorium with a capacity of 200 seats, a video library and a film library of about 2,000 works mainly on Algeria.
The Algerian Cultural Center of Paris regularly organizes conferences and seminars of a cultural and scientific nature, as well as theatrical and cinematographic performances and concerts. The activities offered by the CCA are constantly evolving and diversifying to meet the expectations of the public.
The CCA also has an educational dimension by offering courses in Arabic and Tamazigh languages, as well as initiations to plastic arts and music. The vocation of the center is to open more to the public and to make known the Algerian culture in all its diversity. The director of the center has repeatedly expressed his desire to highlight the talent and artistic expression Algerian in all its forms and in all its media.
The mission of the Algerian Cultural Center of Paris is to develop and implement programs of cultural activities to disseminate Algerian culture in France. It organizes various events such as conferences-debates on various themes, music concerts, painting and photo exhibitions, film screenings and theatrical performances as well as the commemoration of national and religious events.
The Algerian Cultural Center of Paris is a lively and dynamic space that offers a wide range of cultural and educational activities to a demanding public, with the ambition of making known and promoting the Algerian culture in all its forms.
